In the heart of Speyside

The perfect holiday cottage from which to explore the Cairngorm National Park, kick off your NC500 tour, fish the mighty River Spey, or the Rivers Livet & Avon, visit the numerous distilleries which nestle in the glens of Speyside, ride the bike trails at Glenlivet & hike the spectacular summits of the Highlands…

Built in the early 19th Century, Drumin Farm Cottage sits at the confluence of the Rivers Livet & Avon (A’an) next door to the 14th Century Drumin Castle.

Drumin Farm Cottage is a modern, well-appointed family home, set in the heart of Glenlivet. Just a mile or so from the famous The Glenlivet Distillery, Drumin is a part of Whisky history, as this was where George Smith set up the first legal still in Scotland. A bike ride away from Glenlivet Mountain bike trails & on the route of the Speyside way which takes walkers south to the Storylands of Badenoch or north, to the beautiful coast of Moray.

The location is ideal for exploring the Cairngorm National Park; with Aviemore, Grantown on Spey, Nethy Bridge, Aberlour, Dufftown, Rothes, Tomintoul, Ballater, Balmoral & Braemar (home of the Fife Arms) all between 20 - 60 mins drive across the magnificent “Snow Roads” which offer spectacular views of the Cairngorm mountains & highland landscape or turning north you can hit the NC500 route…
